Editing your scene

Fix transcription mistakes, add or delete lines, adjust timing, and manage your scenes.

The scene editor

Open Edit Scene from the sidebar to change anything about your scene. Select any line to see what you can do:

  • Edit Text: fix a mis-transcribed line or tweak the wording.
  • Add Line: insert a new line anywhere in the scene.
  • Delete Line: remove a line, or everything above/below it in one action (handy for trimming a long script down to your sides).
  • Regenerate Audio: create fresh AI audio for a line after editing it.
  • Voice Clone: record the line in your own voice to set its exact pacing and delivery.
  • Playback Speed: set a per-line speed from 0.5× to 2×.
  • Pause Before: add a 0.5-5 second beat before the line plays.
  • Trim Audio: visually cut silence or noise from the start or end of a line's audio.

Applying your changes

Edits collect in a Pending Changes list so you can review (or cancel) each one before applying. Changes that alter spoken text will generate new audio, which counts toward your monthly audio allowance.

Re-upload the script

If the transcription missed big chunks or the scene came out wrong, use Re-upload Script to replace the scene's content with a corrected file (.pdf, .png, .jpg, or .txt) instead of fixing lines one by one.

Duplicate or delete a scene

  • Duplicate Scene: creates an exact copy. Useful for keeping one clean version and one cut-down rehearsal version.
  • Delete Scene: permanently removes the scene.
Heads up: Deleting a scene can't be undone, and it doesn't restore upload quota. Duplicate first if you might want it back.
